VOTE EARLY

Early Voting begins on October 24th at The Putnam County Board of Elections, 25 Old Route 6 in Carmel, NY. With two weekends and a full week to vote early, casting a ballot in New York has never been more convenient!

VOTE ABSENTEE

Requests for Absentee Ballots must be mailed no later than October 27th. Voters can come in to the Board of Elections up to November 2 and submit an absentee application and get an absentee ballot right then and there and vote absentee. Qualifications for Voting by Absentee Ballot:

  1. Unable to appear at the polls due to temporary or permanent illness or disability (temporary illness includes being unable to appear due to risk of contracting or spreading a communicable disease like COVID-19).
